Tennessee homes and businesses consume electricity at rates above the national average. Reducing phantom loads (the energy your devices use when they’re turned off) will play an important role in reducing the state’s overall electricity consumption and associated greenhouse gas emissions.
In an effort to increase awareness of phantom loads, the Tennessee Energy Education Initiative (TEEI) is distributing a limited number of Kill-A-Watt® Meters to Tennessee residents through the E.D.G.E. Project.
